Why: For what reason or purpose.

Day 2: Write a reason for why you want to live the freedom lifestyle.

The freedom lifestyle for me is creating more space in my life in order to explore my more creative side that I know I have (we all have!). For some reason, so far, there was always something I should do or pursue, which it was always more important, I was always saying later, quieting that voice inside me saying play, draw, make something. But now it feels like a necessity for me to do something about that voice. I decided that there is no more later.

The reason I want to live this freedom lifestyle is that immense feeling of fulfilment and satisfaction I get when I make something, when I make pictures, talk about light, cameras and ideas, write a story, listen to and read stories, even making a handmade birthday card for a friend or baking a cake. And, even if I am not the best in the world in any of these, it doesn’t matter, I would like more of that feeling in my life.

I am kind of in the process of creating that space for my more creative self, trying to put my self in places and situations that will help me develop that side of me. A painting course, two photography courses and one photography workshop, so far. I try to spend as much time with my camera as I can. I started this blog and even doing the 10 day blog challenge is part of that effort.

If me doing this will inspire even one person to get out of their comfort zone and do something, spend more time with the things they bring them joy, that, for me, it would be a great achievement. I wouldn’t say quit your job or stop doing whatever is that you do, I am just saying make sure you have some space in your life for that thing that brings you that feeling. At least that is what I am trying to do.

And that is my day 2 challenge post.

Feel free to share and comment.
